Hi all, bought half a dozen of these over Ebay..

Anyone bought any recently and had relative success?

they happily grow in pretty much any conditions. Had mine for 3yrs now.

I find that they seem to get clogged with debris from the currents, need a shake every now and then

Thanks for the replies and thank you Mod/s for moving it to where it should be...
There really isn't alot of real plants in my tank, whether this can make a difference to their growth ? They are placed in the right hand side of my tank, nearest to where the light enters the room.

I feel fairly horrible putting these little guys through this.
the last aquarium i had was over 15 years ago , I don't even remember if i knew anything about cycling or not.

I have 2 in 2 different tanks for a few months now. Both looked the same going into each tank but the one with the better lighting is much greener & healthy looking.
