Molly Fry - How Old To Determine Gender?

Sorry me again with another question.

The first 2 fry we found just over 4 weeks ago, probably around 6 weeks old now, both still look like females - is this accurate or how old ish will their true gender be more determined?

You can expect that there is not going to be any reliable way to sex molly fry at less than 2 to 3 months old, even if you have ideal growth conditions. If your setting is less than ideal, expect an even longer time to sex the fry.

Thanks oldman - I did think it was too soon, I shall just continue watching them grow nicely They've now got names anyway - one is silvery while the other black with white speckles so they are Salt and Pepper lol!
