Hey guys,
I am currently looking to upgrade my teeny tiny tank to a much larger one with one of my main ambitions in the near future being to keep angelfish.
At the moment I am looking at this tank:

http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/aquarium-supplies/aquariums/fluval/elite-and-marina-fun-aquariums/marina-style-glass-aquarium-tropical-set-160l-and-cabinet-complete.html

However after reading around I realise this is maybe a bit small for angels and was wondering if anyone knew a similar sized tank (taller of course) that is a similar price?
Thanks for any help :D

I've seen on here that angles need quite tall tanks min 1.5ft tall tanks as they can get quite large.

My friend has a 4x2x2 tank with 5 angles in it and they are by far not small but not huge about 7-8 inches tall.

I would find out who has angels on here and find out from them what's best for angels.

Dang, just a few inches off.
Thanks a lot anyway guys :)

Many of the top breeders keep them in 15" high tanks. The Juwel Rio 180 would be a good starter tank for them, with the aim of the 240 as their final tank.

If you looked into trying to find Leopaldi Angels then that would be even better as they stay smaller than other species. Scalare would also be ok, but Altums would be a no go and would ideally want a 20" tall tank due to their extra size.

HTH.

Actually for Altums even 20 inches is not deep enough. I went with 28 inches and only because I could not find a used tank 31 or deeper which is the recommended depth for them. But I am not trying to spawn them so I should be OK being a few inches short.
