In all seriousness I have been thinking about long gloves for my tank work, I usually have gunky or chemically hands or have just washed them again etc, and this thread has prompted me to look around. It would also protect us from fish TB etc.

It seems the most suitable are vetinary gloves. Something like these.

You might see the result of your mqanicure go right down the drain. I never worry about such things, as a man who has never had a manicure, but it may well not bode well for your appearance. A manicure, like so many other appearance related items, may not survive immersion in a fish tank. After all, when working in your fish tank your focus should always be the fish. To me that means that I would only look at my hands after I was done. By then it mayu be too late for the manicure.
