after a big mould outbreak and a shakey start, my micro worm culture is booming! they have munched their way thru most of the oatmeal mush now, so do i just mix some new oatmeal mush and plop it in? or do i start a brand new culture

You can do either, but a new fresh culture would probably be best and would last longer. Just mix up a new bactch of your oatmeal goodness, plop in a scoop or two from your current culture, sprinkle with yeast (optional), and you're back in business! :)

glad to hear its going well now. It would be best to make a new culture or two from what you have and keep using the old until the new one(s) have established. Some then throw the old one out but i keep it till it dies off
