Metal Halide Rx7s Lamp Holders In Uk

Hi folks,

I am trying to track down a new pair of RX7S lampholders. Does anyone know where I can pick a pair up? The ones in my MH light have corroded metal terminals and one has totally burnt out.

I'm hoping this will fix the light as my tank looks totally crap only half lit

Contact arcadia and tell them you own one of there halides and get the part no then get lfs to order it in?.

Hi Moles,

I've managed to track one down via eBay. They weren't listed but, I contacted a vendor selling other MH parts and they do stock the RX7s too. Cost about £10 for the pair mounted on a bar, including postage.

There is always Radio Shack or RS components as it likes to be called now.

I didnt try RS components, mainly because I'd prefer not to take out a personal loan secured against my house to purchase something from them lol

What I find them the cheapest around.

Auto-top off DIY ccost me £24 for the float switch, peri pump and housing!
