Metal Halide Light

Never heard of these lights? Metal halide? Can anyone shed any light (haha) on what they are, what they look like etc. There is one on seapets for £45 it is 150 watt, that is some light!! Anyone recommend these lights and how are they fixed to the aquarium?

Metal halides are generally used for marine as some corals require blinding lighting
