poor reflector and bulb would need changin.

look for a second hand unit, by the time you have bough a 50 quid bulb, you may aswel have got a propper unit.

was thinking it for extra lighting on top of what i have, not as the main lighting.

i currently have 4 t5's 2 marine 2 actinic

the tankis a trigon 350

i currently have a green bulb nem(which has settled mid level) and just bought a toadstool

would like to eventually get a torch and hammer coral

Right, i used to have a corner tank the same as a trigon. Ideally oyu'll want to find a 250W metal halide if you plan on keeping SPS.

For softies and LPS then 4 T5's willl be ok. Just at the bottom T5's struggle for light penetration
