Morning everyone, Lovely summers day in London and working from home today.

ENG v Zimbabwe playing cricket so going to watch it on TV and wrap the cabinet.

Organised the filter.

2 x trays of sponges for mechanical filtration ''bottom''
4 x trays for bio filtration.
1 x top tray of filter floss for final polish. At the top for quick change when exhausted.

The vinyl wrap does not adhere to well to unpainted porous wood so painted a few coats of satinwood paint last night. The vinyl wrap sticks very well to flat smooth non porous surfaces. Will also use a little of the evo stick impact tac glue for the edges.

The wrap is very sticky and once stuck its very hard to remove without damaging, stretching and ripping it so trying to wrap the
cabinet with a circumference of 6ft in one sheet without any joins will be tough but I will give it a go..

What a really nice build. So many little touches you've put into this, like having the canister filter on a wheel-out shelf. Brilliant.

A thought about stocking: With a tank that narrow, you'll want small fish, which you said you were planning on. But it seems like you'll also want to be sure to include some top and bottom feeders, so there is movement and color through the whole thing. It will be beautiful when it's done!
