Hi,
I've done a bit of Google searching as well as a couple of searches here, and found pretty mixed reviews of a company called Mer Aquatica (www.meraquatica.co.uk). They make very cheap tanks + stands - I was looking at a 48x24x18 tank with hood and stand @ GBP285.
I stumbled across them via an eBay auction (for the above tank), but after all my umm-ing and err-ing and concern about it just being to cheap, by the time I'd decided that I wanted the tank, the auction was over. I wasn't too bothered, because it was BuyItNow for the same price as they sell them from their website, so I thought, 'never mind, I'll just give them a ring and order one'. This was on Friday. Since then I've phoned them (and left a voicemail) and emailed them, and nobody has got back to me. Has anyone else had this problem? I sent them a couple of emails about the auction before, and I got replies fairly quickly, now - nothing.
I guess, if I'm honest, what I'm looking for here is people to reply telling me that it's worth my while to keep trying, and that the tanks are great. Of course, I'd be equally willing to hear opposite opinions...
