Melon Barbs

I am thinking of getting some melon barbs to go in my tank has anybody got any information on these will they mix with the fish I have got

6 neon tetras
6 rosy barbs
4 panda platys
4 tuxedos platys
2 chinese algae eaters

From the information I could find, Melon Barbs (Puntius fasciatus), are native to India, grow to 6 inches (15cm), prefer heavily planted tanks with subdued lighting, must have some greens in their diets, and need to be in groups of 6 or more to avoid aggression towards their tankmates. That being said, depending on the size and setup of your tank, they should go well with what you have.
