i went to a local pet store because my crazy aunt dragged me, and was horrified by the treatment of the bettas (actually all the animals in that store) the bettas were kept in a very small bowl, or thoughs stupid aqua rings. i felt so bad but for the bettas but could only save one. so i saved this guy, who i named storm. his five gallon is filtering for the night but should be ready for him tommarow. i was encouraged that he ate almost right away. so storm is the newest membet to my betta family.

storm joins the ranks of jasper the male betta and rayne the shim betta and the yellow guppy.

Awwwww.....he's such a lovely colour. I can see why you chose him and glad to hear he's got an appetite :good: :good:

no offence but for a rescue he looks in great condition, looks well looked after to be honest :shifty:

he was in a very, very, very small bowl and one of his companions in another bowl had already passed on, trust me he came from a bad place. he is already very happy with just a one gallon wait until he moves into the five gallon, he will think he died and moved on to fishy heven lol.

and netty i was very very happy that he ate, usally bettas i get from the store don't eat the first day.

Very pretty. I'm a sucker for that sort of coloration. He looks a bit like my old fish Flash. :)

he is a beautiful fish, but already a little odd. he has a prefrence for hanging out by the water intake of his new five gallon tank. scared me the first time until he wiggled over to me. odd little fish.
