Meet Casper

I think my cat only pays attention because he grew up with them (I saved him off the streets at 4 weeks old). ALthough my moms cat, who decided it's fun sticking his paw in the water to catch the fish is driving me nuts! He now figured out how to open my small betta tanks (for only when I need to do really big cleaning's on their tank) by pulling the lid off with his claw.....

Congratulations on Casper,- he's gorgeous! I really love the whites! Love the photo with the cat in! My cat ignores all my tanks now, but she did used to sit by the one in my fireplace and put her paw on the glass when the betta boys came over to say hello!

I can't gather up the money just for shipping I am 10 so i am trying to save my money up for a half-moon

Well you can always ask family for a white betta as a gift Thats what I use to do at your age. Or you can always check your lfs when ever they got new shipment. (I still have to do that with females every saturday)

when you say your moms cat put his paw in the water, does that mean there is no cover on the tank? Bettas are notorious for jumping out of non covered tanks, and your beautiful bettas could end up as cat fodder.

Lol no of course theres a cover. The cat learned how to take it off. I ended up moving him though so he's safe again

He really is I wish I could get a better picture of him though. I'm going back to petsmart today to get his friend (he's a blue and yellow halfmoon) They were there for over a week.. if he is still there I cant leave him.

that sounds very familiar, i hate seeing them there too long, i took a group of females and a male that my LFS had for atleast a month, got a good deal being a regular
