medication and biological filter

I am using triple sulfa to get rid of the fungus on some of my fishes (not ick). Will it kill the good bacteria of the ? Which medication will adversly affect biological filter?

I don't know does it effect beneficial bacteria, but filtration effects that medication (it'll bind it).

Even if I removed the filter cartridge (with act. charcoal)???
My filter has separate cells for the bacterias to grow.

I don't know a list of what meds do and don't but most meds do affect the bacteria.

All meds affect the oxygen carrying capacity of water so indirectly yes, all do...
