Measurement Help Please

Hiya, anyone with a bow front tank such as a Vision 260 or Vicenza 260, basically a 4ft tank, please could you tell me - when the manufacturers measurements are given, and the width is say 55cm, is this at the widest point or the least (at the sides)? Does anyone own one? Could they measure the width at the sides for me please?

It's the length from side to side, I saw a diagram in the juwel catalogue, with the measurements in.

how can a 4ft tank be 55cm surely its the depth of the bow in the center

sorry misread the post, thought you meant the length of the tank as it often referred to as the width.

Sorry guys, I don't know if it's 55cm, it was just an example. The bow front 4ft standard make like Juwel or Fluval is 4ft in length, about 60cm in height and they give a measurement from the back to the front, but I need to know the measurement at it's shortest as well as it's widest (which I *think* is 55cm) so would it be say, 40cm at it's shortest? If anyone has one, I would be grateful for a quick measure up, thanks xx

You would think so wouldn't you lol
I just managed to download the brochure for the Vicenza but it doesn't give the measurements at the sides, only the fullest point being 46cm so I am going to make a wild stab at say 36cm for the sides or go LFS with a tape measure lol

on the juwel sight the width is for the side of the tank, not from back to the bow.
