Unfortunately my plans for my arowanas 600 gallon may not happen. He is only 8-9 inches right now. But he has doubled in size in the past month and im expecting the same next month. I've been short on cash lately. And the expected 600 tank, which i was supposed to pick up locally for a steal ($200) is gone. I've been short on cash lately and I cannot quite pay for another large tank. not for a WHILE anyway. My main questions are 1) at around 12 inches, i will sell him. how much is a decent selling price and 2) ive never shipped fish before, how should i go about this?


and no, im not buying a bigger temporary tank. it would cost alot and i would end up not using it eventually anyway once he outgrew it.

if all turns out bad, i can still give him away to my lfs, they said they would take him in worst case scenario. hey, if i find another large tank for cheap then maybe all will turn out well. I pray, and yeah, it is a stunning fish.

As said above, a good price is anything you can get rid of it for. Giving it away could well be the only way to ship it on.
