Maybe a bit creepy!

Internal decapitation

Beats the external kind, I suppose.

I just saw this thread for the first time, and realized that I look nothing like my profile picture

I know what you mean. I don't know what it is with me and a photo but a photo always looks way different than what I see in a mirror. LOL! Mayhaps the mirror aspect is just mind giving over to wishful thinking.

Figured I’d update my “what do ya look like” answer.
Upgraded to my halo vest today. It’s definitely uncomfortable but brings so much more relief to my head and neck.

I'm twice your age and can't wing my eyeliner as well as that on my best day, let alone while wearing all that hardware!

You've got skillz, kiddo.

That photo was from 2010. I have very few photos of me, but here's one of me, my husband and our grandson at his christening in November 2022.

I love this photo! You and your hubby both have the kind of faces where you can see you smile and laugh a lot, radiating warmth! You both remind me of my favourite Aunt and Uncle Nice to have family photos of the generations during such a special occasion too.

This is a picture of a so-called intelligent human after an estimated 300,000 cigarettes and 20kg of caffeine (that’s caffeine, not coffee).

Taken a week after reducing my caffeine intake from 20+ cups a day to 3, and two days after reducing the cigarettes from 20+ to 3. I feel healthier already.

As you can plainly see, these excesses have had zero effect and I’m still as easy on the eye as JuiceBox.

Ah, but eyes always reveal a lot about a person! I see intelligence and warmth in these eyes too. Stay strong with the lifestyle changes, but remember that even if you slip, that doesn't mean you can't course correct and still be far ahead from where you began.

Well she’s an artist after all so putting on eyeliner properly is a cinch.

It’s actually so hard I usually have to redo it a dozen times

Me too.

If you know of a good tutorial, LMK!

I hardly ever bother with make up lately, but even when I did, I'd usually only wing eyeliner for a night out, would have a flawless base, shadow and brows, then mess up the eyeliner and have to remove and fix the make up on that eye, and it would never be as good as it was before I messed up the eyeliner!

Why try to improve on perfection?

*Raises a cynical eyebrow in your general direction*

While it's true that the woman in my profile pic could be described as a "handsome woman", sadly, I am not she.

Heck, even peacocks shimmy their feathers and have a preen when they're looking for love!

I've had to do eyeliner every Saturday for show choir, and in the last 8-weeks I still haven't been able to even somewhat get a proper wing

Did someone say wings?

Ah, but do they beat show choir makeup?? (this was the result when my director said she wanted the judges to be able to see them from space )

I love every single thing about this photo. Even the look on your face is like "Go BIG with the eyeliner, or go home!"

You're rocking it pretty hard though, kudos to you for that! Now to find out what a show choir is... is it show tunes?? Because that sounds like a blast!
