Maturing Male Fry

So, this hitch hiker fry I got over a month and a half ago has officially become a male and is really chasing down one of my females and acts like hes mating with her. Is it possible that at around 2 months they could be mature enough to impregnate her??

It is definitely possible for a 2 months old guppy, platy, molly to be a active mature enough male if it has been growing well.

I forgot to mention it's a guppy! Well anyways, no wonder he has been making all the behaviors, he got his color and his anal fin started growing longer and then he started making all of the funny motions! That's nice to know now! Thank you very much!!

I have a batch of platy fry that were born at the beginning of the year. One of the females has got a swollen belly and looks pregnant already. There's also a male in there from the same batch and he's been chasing the girls for a while. He also stands his ground with the other male platies and my male guppy even though he's half their size!

This little guy is less than half the other guppies size and he still manages to get the female he wants. He seems to have claimed one. Just like my other adult male guppy who managed to claim the other one. They stay in little packs of two it's kind of adorable.
