Hi ,, do marmio moss balls filter out medication does anyone know please.

No. Carbon does, and zeolite if there's any of that in the filter. Plants, even algae such as marimo balls, don't remove medication. They might take some up into the plant, but not so much that it will interfer with the treatment.

I agree with @essjay. They do not filter out medication.

Make sure to remove any active carbon that may be in your filter. That will remove the medication out of the water, hence making it less effective.

Moss balls will absorb nitrates but that is about it. I only use my carbon cartridges to remove meds, I replaced them with more sponge in my filters.
