I've heard people using marine epoxy to hold together their rocks and coral. I've never used it before and websites about this product are very vague.

Do I need to take the rocks out of the tank first and put them together, or can this be applied right in the tank itself?

thank you :) Just had to make sure!

Just make sure that if you do use it in the tank AND have fish living in it to do so with the lights off and all the fish scared away. Sometimes you'll get little white flecks coming off the epoxy or your fingers as you're working it and you don't want the fish to mistake it as food ;). While not toxic, if the epoxy hardens inside the stomach of a fish it can kill it... This is very rare, but avoided if you scare the fish away when working.
