Is it possible to get this treament or similar antibiotic treatments in the UK. I have been treating my fish with interpet fungus and finrot, but need something a bit more powerful.

As far as I know anti-biotics are only available in the UK by prescription. However I have just purchased some Maracyn from everythingfishy.com in the U.S.A. A box of 24 tablets cost me just over £15 inc p&p. They actually threw in an additional 9 tablets because of the high p&p charge. It took between 1-2 weeks to arrive.

I don't rate the interpet medicine's much not strong enough, ok if it's a mild case a bit like a chemist version instead of a percription, only thing is available is are antibiotics which a doctor procribes.

The only non-prescription anti-biotic I can find in the UK is melafix by API. It's a herbal extract of Tea Tree which is well known for it's anti-biotic properties. I can't see this being as good as the prescription remidies, anyone used this before?
