Male Guppies Bullying Sunset Platys ..

.... to death !! , wife has let me know that one platy has gone and another is on the way out , I thought they were supposed to be OK together , the guppies have been picking on them but I thought it was just because they were new in the tank , all my levels are OK and the tank is not overstocked

What gender are your platys?

If you have male guppies in with female platys they may harass them to mate like they would harass female guppies.

I don't know , looks as though they coulsd have been mixed as 3 of the 5 seem to be ok ...

result , lfs took the platys back , exchanged for more guppies and all is well again
