Male and female Congo / African dwarf frogs

I have kept dwarf frogs before but only ever as the one frog in the tank. I have since come to learn that they do well in groups of 3+ however I am wondering if there should be a certain male to female ratio?

Cannot remember I have ever seen a recommendation on this. All I have ever seen was a mix of sex.
