I've only just noticed that there is a new (well, July) MA in Farnham. Thats much more convenient for me than the one in Woking...

Anyone been there? is it any good.. I hope to make a visit soon, but they always shut at six during the week.! bah!

Well it look like nobody had been there, so i escaped from work and went to see for myself..

Nice place.. I was interested in what Malawi Cichlids they had, and they had a much better selection of cichlids than most places in the area.. Overall i thought there was a good selection of fish, and the staff seemed really helpful. The lady there had a good knowledge of Cichlids, made recommendations of how to buffer the water, questioned me about the tank and the filter, and made good recommendations about introducing the fish and bacteria levels. i was quite impressed. I will give it a couple more visits and then find that LFS thread and add them to it.

I go there quite a bit, its a bit hit and miss with advice, they sold 2 angels to my son who has a 30 litre tank, they did ask him how tall the tank was though?? Saying that they also took the surviving one back and gave credit for the dead one. They have a great selection of fish but are a tad on the expensive side. They also sold him 3 male guppies knowing he only has one female??
