I checked his eyes and they don't look sunken.Last time you got a good look - were his eyes sunken? (they look like it in the side on piccy)
Looking at his belly I'd say hes a little on the thin side... now that hes seperated try feeding some high protean foods, try to fatten him up a bit.
Prawns, bloodworm that sort of thing...
You should be able to see if he's eating then
If not try a little garlic on the foods - I've never used it myself but it sounds lik a miricle cure if fish arnt eating.

He's eaten a few bloodworms tonight and the good news is the patches seem to be disappearing!![]()
Sorry to the person who origanally posted the comment but i am having trouble with my queen arabesc(PLEC) he wont eat!!! i put algae wafers in. and he used to go straight to them not he sits there and looks
ive also tried feeding his favourite cucumber but i love this little gadet that kept it on the floor and cant keep the cucumber on the floor without it floating!

Hi Wilder. We put medication in yesterday and some today, Melafix and Pimafix. He's moving about quite normally and like I say he's a good munch on some bloodworm.Did you medicate the tank stang1
