Fish Gatherer
Hey all,
Some of you may suffer the same problem as I (for various reasons).
I have an 18" deep tank, and if I want to put any veg in for my fish, I have to remove a quarter bucket of water for my arm displacement!
So, I was originally using a teaspoon, then a sucker with cable ties (good one that), but decided to try a less 'wet-intrusive' method. I picked up a Marina algae magnet:
Used a pinvice tgo drill a hole through the handle to fit a cable tie through, and gtightened it enough to give me a[permanent 'loop'.
I then inserted a second cable tie through a piece of veg, and tied it through the loop, lopping off the end with clippers.
Result, easy to insert food! (I can get it all the way to the bottom fine if I use a smaller piece of veg ;p)
Anyway, handy for me!
Now just have to figure out why my female bristle nose is doing territorial displays all round it! ;p
