Lowering pH

Personally I would just leave it alone as many people suggested 5 days ago. Mine's higher than yours, and all my fish have adapted. Plus, IME driftwood has never lowered the pH.
 
I agree You really don't need to get any chemicales to lower the tanks PH. So my sugestion is that you should get some Java furn. That is what happend to my tank (the PH got down to 5.8-6.0) But that was because I had a lot I mean a lot of it so that stuff might work. 8)

I also have a Ph of 7.6 and my fish seem very happy. I have a very large piece of bogwood in one of my tanks and have found it to be very effective in reducing it - the Ph in that tank is 6.6.
