Long Trailing Poo!?

I've never kept livebearers in the past however my son has three platies in his tank and they have long trailing poo. Is this normal and what is the casue of this?

it's normal, as platies are poop machines.

As long as it not long white stringy.

its not white and stringy it looks very normal apart from the fact that its nearly twice their body length!!!

no wonder I've never liked livebearers!!!!
