Out of interest, loaches like a fairly strong current of water flow, because my filter pumps out water in 2 different places which can be directed, so i have one facing upwards to agitate the surface, and i was wondering whether i should bother directing the other current along the bottom of the tank towards the filter intake for the loaches!?!?!?

Basically, do they like a strong current?

I had a gold loach for about 3months and i didn't really notice this^

I have medium paced flow with internal filter. The only thing I did notice is that the #29### started sucking on my other fish once he reached 3"+

my little sister got one and she got no flow in tank exept an air filter and its been living for ages and thrives i dont see the problem =/

From simply looking at a loach you will see it is streamlined in shape, giving an idea that they originate from quick flowing streams, therefore appreciate strong currents and oxygen rich water

they love flow

my clown loach used to aways swim into the flow from my out pipe for fun

a proper loach tank would have lots of flow providing oxygen rich water
