:/ we woke up this morning and one of our aquariums was covered in white thread like worms, some long some quite short.
They seem to move a bit like a catapiller and are mostly attatched to the side of the glass.
Our fish seem fine the are eating them.
Just wondered what they were......

Probably Planaria. Try to cut down on feeding a bit. :) And do you syphon very often?

thanks for replying
what you decribed and what it said in the link provided seemed very much like the problem we have.
our gravel does not look very clean,i was just a bit shocked as we have never had this problem before.
we will now clean our aquarium and see what happens..
thanks again.........

The fish should eat them, as you've seen, and if you cut down on feeding and clean the gravel, they should be gone in no time.
