Little Snail Help?

Hello
I won some apple snails and theyve turned up today and Im completely unprepared...There are about 10-15, gorgeous colours, thinking of keeping one or two but unsure if could keep them all as having had one before they poop alot and worried all of them might be a bit much in any of my tanks.

My 160 litre has assassin snails and one nerite so not sure a good idea to introduce them in there and the other tanks are fairly small and at a good level of stocking which dont wish to over exert. I have them in a large container at the moment in the water they came in topped up with tank water..What is best to feed them and how to keep them?

Any tips reallly appreciated xxx

What colours are they?

If someone tells me how to look after them then i would probably take 1 - 2 off you if you have too many.

Oh, im selling my apple snails soon. I dont like them. Yes, they have alot of waste!

But to introduce them, just pop them in the tank and they should come out there shells within 12 hours.

15 snails is quite alot Im certain they will add alot of bio-load to the filter. Mine are currently living in a storage contaier, with daily water changes, they seem fine. I am feeding them tropical flakes and cucumber.

They have already all popped out to say hello and are quite cute. How big is your container hon and mine isnt and will most likely do daily water changes as dont want to affect my tanks..

I was actually hoping to get an apple snail but i was hoping for free or quite cheap cause i will have to earn the money myself and earning something like £5 would take about 1 - 2 weeks for me They would most likely need posting but i don't know how that would work. My LFS doesn't stock apple snails.

Oh hon, I would supply to you but really unsure about posting snails. I tried receiving some by post during summer and it wasnt good...so would need proper guidance. The problem in summer was that they ended up being cooked I will bnever forget the smell when I opened that package...

I wish that had never happend to you because that smell will linger forever now.
Cooked snails smell really bad.

The tub is 30L, the room temperature is 22C. Ideally i should have 10L more, as there are 4 snails, but hopeully i can pass 2 of them on soon.

I only know that cooked snails smell bad because me and my friends used to cook them for fun but we were only 6 or 7.
