Lights off for a Week, Help!!

Unless you live in a basement or a place with no windows, they'll still I think get a sense of day and night without the aquarium lights. I'm from from an expert, but just have never seen it cause any trouble. I've left for a week or two at a time and left the lights off, though our house is pretty well lit from the outside.

If that were case they would be no need for aquarium lights

Except perhaps to be able to see the fish, think that's pretty important as well. Doubt many of us would have fish if we had lived 500 years ago.
