Hi there,

Just lost my dwarf puffer after 2.5-3 years (sad to see the little fellow pass away )so now able to re design the aquascape. I am heading for the old favourite amazonian biotope. Just wanted a little advice on light levels. The tank is the record 96 and is approximately 2.5 ft long by 1-1.5 ft top to bottom. I have to buy new lighting system as the hood died suddenly and for the last 6 months I have been using a PC 50:50 marine tube.

Any advice will be gratefully received

Regards

Joe

what set up are you trying to achieve? Low or or high maintenance? if its Low then go with 1 T8 running the length of the tank, or if you want a high maintenance set up then 2 T8's spanning the length of the tank.
