Light Times?

I ordered a pack of 2 digital timers from Ebay from abroad and I had to give up on them due to the fact I just could not make head nor tail of the instructions.

I suspect they're very good timers if you can work them out.

Got my tank on a digital timer bought for £7 from Halfords.

Lights come on at 2pm - off at 10pm summer & winter.
Seems to work OK as heavily planted tank which needs enough light
but not enough to encourage algae

Halfords you say? Thanks! My bog standard one makes noise AND it seems to lose time!

yes I've been very pleased with it.

Easy to understand the instructions too - had it for over a year now -
