Got to remember Stradom, that the suppliers have a minimum order of 2 boxes, equating to arround 2,000 tetra sized fish
mine dont mine is a 1/8th single box, works wonders if you only want a limited amount of one species as fillers so that the tanks arent overloaded. every supplier is different, depends on who you use and the sources they use. its the sources that are demanding on quantities.

oh almost forgot well done orange shark

lol :) how true is that.
Every new worker is always in debt to the shop for the first couple of months. Oh oh I gotta get me some of those, and one of them, and that and a couple of them, oh and a marine tank, ooh baby and a couple of those things there :)

:hyper: how true is that, i owe my own business prob a few thousand pounds now

lucky mate :D

i applied for a job at mine, and they said they wanted someone with more qualifications :(

they then employed someone who knows nothing about fish... but hey! They have a-levels! :D

I'm not seeing how qualifications affect you knowlage of fish.... As far as I'm conserned Esfa, if you dropped your CV in at my shop I'd add a recomendation on your behalf to the owner :good: My boss only seems to hire upon staff recomendation

That is true, every supplier is different. One of our others asks a minimum order of one box, but they charge us through the nose, at 10p a neon -_- I can't see 1/8th of a box being cost effective to a larger shop once postage and overheads have been taken into consideration, but that order size would be better suited to a smaller shop

Does that 1/8th of a box apply to one species only, or is it the whole order must be more than 1/8th of a box? Ours allow as few as 1/16th of a box for one species, but the whole order must come to over 2 boxes...

All the best
Rabbut

oh that's nothing from Ian, he has no sense of shame...... for anyone wondering Ian literally got down on his knee's in the middle of the shop and begged for a plant from the display tank

got to hand it to him, cos we got it.

It was quite busy at the time also, and in all fairness, you were going to get it anyway, even if Ian haden't begged. Caught me completely by suppries as I wasn't actualy expecting him to do that
