Levels Are Right Except Ph

hello,
New set up.....Ammonia, nitrate and nitrite are all zero. Ph is up at 7.8. Was sold some Proper PH 7.0 but on reading the tube it says that it is a phosphate buffer and should not be used with live plants. Tank is now nicely planted, so this stuff is going back tomorrow.

Will my plants be adversely affected by this 7.8 reading ??
What should i use to drop it down a bit.

i have a PH od 8-8.2 and my fish and plants are fine, i've got a runner on my amazon sword and it wouldn't grow it unless it was happy with the water.
its should be fine for the plants.
