Lets Test U Then

It says the max size is 25cm, then says it can get to one metre?

I don't know a thing about Clown Knives, so I wouldn't know if any of the info is wrong. :p

yeah lol have emailed them now but i just thought it was funny it is ment to say 1 foot

Actually, it isn't. Clownknife fish get up to 1 metre in length. What I assume they mean is that, while it gets up to a metre (40") it rarely gets past 25" in the aquarium. Either way, the information as it is now is wrong

--Edit--
Incase anyone will attack me for getting information wrong, source of information can be found here: Source

--Edit again--
When looking at it closer, the scientific name given is for the Black Ghost Knife, not the Clownknife mentioned. And this fish does indeed get up to around 25". That's probably where the problem is. Fish stats mentioned are for the Black Ghost Knife (incl. scientific name), extra information underneath it is pressumably for the Clownknife.

I never liked this fish i hate them they r very lazy and they catch parasites alot.

It's kind of sad really, as these people have been told the correct info (even on this forum, where they are sponsor members - see further down on the main page for the forum they post in) about several fish, yet dont bother to change the info.

If I ran a fish shop, I'd make sure I gave out the correct info rather than risk the comeback from angry customers ;)

I've often wondered if LFS' are at least partially motivated to not give the whole truth when it comes to fish that they sell. It's the whole good money after bad deal. If you go in and want to buy that bala shark and a 10G tank, but you were told, "well, over the life of this fish, you're going to continually need to buy bigger and bigger tanks, and you're going to need to buy 3 or 4 more of them to keep it healthy, plus you'll spend hundreds on meds, food, filtration stuff, etc - all told, you're looking at a few thousand dollar investment", many people would walk away and not get into the hobby, IMO.

But, if you sell them without giving the whole truth, they'll have to keep coming back. Bigger tanks, bigger filters, more fish [after all, if the fish dies, you've spent all this money, might as well buy another one], meds, etc, etc, etc. Some of them will die and the owners will be turned off, but there are some serious people who will become addicted, like me.

I had a look at buying some coral from them a couple of weeks ago and again the names were incorrect on some types.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
