Leaking Filter

its been a while since i came in....anyway my brother is having problems with his "aqua pro 4" he's just re-done his tank(new stones,decorations,ect)its a 180ish ltr(4ft x 2.5ft high, bow front) when turning on the filter water started seeping through the cap, then stopped,10 mins later seeped again...he's put 4 air stones in creating a lot of bubbles i have turned them off, tring to eliminated problems but still happens.

Can't really help mate, but that tank should hold more than 180 litres.

ok maybe 200 plus...he's just put sealant round it seems to of done trick(lfs advice)

Grease the O-ring, most leaks are due to the O-ring not being properly greased, or dirt trapped in them.
