Eeek! You may have only been mere seconds away from certain death you realize. Kill the really poisonous one IMO. Leave the others.


I.E- kill black widow with flame thrower, then chop its legs off and burn them. Then bury 300 yards below any man made object.

Yeah.. felt something on my leg.. brushed it off quick when i saw it was black and moving.. must have hit something on it important because it was upside down with its legs moving slowly in the air when i found it.. sprayed it to doom with bug spray from four feet away.. as I was doing that I saw the red hourglass and almost fainted. It was BIG too. I've called maintenance to come spray my apartment again. Bit of a day really.. was only moving my ex's stuff to the table for her to pick up!

I like your plan. then use the flame thrower to burn the apartment down and start again.

Okay firstly, I have seen many-few Black Widows and they are at all harmless until someone freaks the flip out and start going crazy (a.k.a. Sam), then you put yourself in a death situation, living in Oklahoma/Texas the worst possible spiders are Brown Recluse and the worst thing ever would be Africanized Bees, those things never stop once they start. I am sad that y'all killed it... it was probably looking for a new home since you got rid of his own. But , this is a fish forum, soooo I guess we should switch to fish.

heh.. think you missed the arachnaphobe part.. i don't like killing things but I couldn't have one in my apartment and I really don't like spiders..
