large births can cause death

Well i have one of my females in a first aid tank at the moment. she is not to well but this comes from giving birth to around 60. the last time it was around 30 but now she is a biggen. she gave birth then started to go down hill. i dint se any thing until one morning when i noticed her tail looked as though it was being bitten then she had some fungus on her. she also has red gills and not shinny as normal. i have put her in a beading tank. to get some rest and the drops stay in the tank longer so the medicen gets to here quicker.

i think it is a bit touch and go with her. I think what i need to do is to get the mothers out once they give birth to a large fry. i think it just takes it out of them.

any advice would be good.

stress thats all i can say really, thats a lot for such a small fish maybe she was giving birth and was getting attention shall i say from the males all this is jut too much
