This is a true Siamese algae eater and is an excellent fish to have in algae ridden tanks will also eat black beard algae.

Hi, they are fine on their own, they are quite boisterous fish so prob best either kept with their own kind or alone as they harass other fish, sorry I don't drive so unable to meet half way

They do resemble Flying Foxes but are not the same fish, True Siamese Algae Eaters are the ones you want if you have an algae problem, funnily enough most lfs also label them as Flying Fox to add to the confusion but an online search will prove otherwise, lol!

I really wasn't disputing your ID of it, just realizing how easily the mistake could be made. I thought I was getting SAEs when I got flying foxes instead. Very nice fish!
