A few weeks ago I had put in an order to my LFS to get a couple Laetacara Curviceps, as they stay relatively small and had some nice color. They called today and said they have the fish in stock, but their website reflects a Laetacara Thayeri. I can't seem to find much information on this fish online. It seems that it can get up to 6", which I think is going to be too large for my 55 Gallon considering I also have Angels in there. They do seem to be a bit less colorful and their markings are a little different, otherwise they do look very similar.

Anyone have experience with this fish?

Thanks nelly! I found another site last night that said the Thayeri get to about 8 inches. Far too big for my tank. I may ditch the idea of any Laetacara species all together and just do Angels after all. :good:

That is just too bad. Maybe you could find another cichlid you would want. Mybe a keyhole. I'm not sure about keyholes and angles, but in the topic asking if they would go good together, I think the answer was that they would do fine together.
