L. meleagris and L. speciosus... same?

I recently picked up a trio of Lamprologus meleagris from my lfs. I've been doing some research, and it seems like meleagris and speciosus might be the same fish? It's so confusing to keep up with constantly changing taxonomy, I was wondering if anyone knew if they were the same species, or are they actually different?

Thanks cichlidmaster... BTW, is Lamprogine a word? If it is does it encompass both genus' Lamprologus and Neolamprologus?

Yes!! Lamprologine is a valid word!!

I would have to say it would encompass all species within the Lamprologus genera, but I could be wrong.

I will have to do a check on this to be sure.
