Hey,
These are my Kribs, by far my favorite fish in the world.
This is what i think is there mating dance, although the female hasn't picked a spot for her cave yet :D
Is there anything i can do to provide a space for her to dig a cave?

hi, i can't view the video but do you know that the 2 in the frame are both female?

I know it seems that way in the frame but they are actualy not, very clear signs if you could see them properly :)

weird, i've never seen a male krib look like that before.

good luck with breeding them. :good:

my mum and my brother also think they're both female if that helps. from the positions that they are in in the frame then it looks like they are fighting.

Evobe you can go into your settings on photbucket to make the album public. You should do that, I'm sure this wont be the only video/picture you ever want to show people :D

you can see she has shorter fins and a round belly (think she could be carrying eggs)

you can see his dorsal and anal fin's are longer plus is is slimmer and less colorful

The reason you thought they were both female is coz the vid is when i fist got them and the were juveniles so the male had short fins, and also coz they were showing off there colors :)

hi i think you are mistaken. who was it that told you that you have one male and one female? here are pics of one of my males and one of my females:

HTH :good:

They are both females Evobe. You only need to compare a male tail to a female tail to see your two are both girls (although it's obvious from the stomachs aswell).

Look as a males tail, 1. It's spade shaped and 2. Do you see the defined yellow and red lines with the 'eye spot'.

Females tail - Black line through the middle with yellow patterns either side. Ie. both yours are female.

Sorrry! But whoever told you they were male and female either didn't know what they were talking about or were just plain lying.

oh.... thats annoying..... yea the guy at the fish shop said they were male and female :(

ok so i have 2 females :p i just took the one in the bottom pic who is less aggresive and hasnt made any caves (the other one has) back to the shop were i got them and exchanged her for a male and i now see how very different they are :p thankyou for your help everyone :)
