Other than the probable obscene cost, would you get one? One good thing is that you can lift the counter top for maintenance and close proximity to a water pipe for a sump, but on the other the lack of space for the sump or storing supplies and possibly heat coming off of the stove tops (??).
 
No I wouldn't, if I had the money and that house I would have a similar sized one built into a wall or something, far easier to see the fish and they will feel safer and not be disturbed so much by vibrations and the like hence why I don't like coffee table tanks, that being said it looks stunning but just not great for the fish imo.
 
Looks pretty nice and probably would make a nice planted tank or something.

Not as a fish tank tbh, too much movement and noise by folk around the tank would probably stress the stocking too much.

Also lifting that worktop looks heavy and probably a real pain to do as sink plumbing and stuff to move to enable lifting or moving of top.

Nice but far too impractical and way too expensive imo!
