'kissing' Pearls.

I've got 3 Pearl Gourami's (1m, 2f) which seem to be quite close. I notice every now and again the two females 'kiss' each other on the lips and do so for a while? What are they doing? It doesn't seem very aggressive and they always seem to hang around each other.

there are a lot of opinions as to what it means. some people say it's a dominance thing some say it's communication. I personally don't know but as long as they're not fighting it's funny to watch.
