King 2 Is Gone...

OA, did KingII get moved or did you move a nearby tank, fish or change his living accommodations at all? Was he eating? Could it have been depression?

I actually have a photo taking tank, and that's where I took that picture. He got moved once, but he was still in the same tank, and got moved to the other side of the room. My parents did that. Not me.

I ask because I have had Bettas be unhappy with new situations and start to decline and not eat, laying on the bottom of the tank. If I didn't move them and help them, they starved themselves. I had one boy that was next to the sorotity tank and flirted all day long. When I got the new tank and moved the girls, he began to starve himself. I found him a place next to the girls again and he perked right up. I can imagine all sorts of changes that could bother them. They are very aware of their suroundings and get lonely for their companions.
