We have two 1" GBR. Tonight we noticed them knocking lumps outta each other. On closer inspection we seen eggs on a stone and one of them was chasing the other away. This is the tank that two fish died in a couple of days ago so I think we can rule out water quality as cause of death. :good: We now know we have at least one female can anyone tell if theyre both female or have we got a pair. The picture quality isnt great. Will be midnight snack for rotkeil so we aint holding our breath for fry.

To be honest they both look female to me. And it's not entirely un heard of for a female to spawn without a male... so it's definitely a possibility. Especially if they're now being really agressive with eachother. If they were a male female pair then it can happen, but it's alot more likely that they'd be working together to raise the eggs.

We thought ourselves they were the same sex. Just means more fishy shopping :D
