Karin's 60 Gallon

Well this tank is finally up and running and stable. Houses: 3 congo tetras, 4 albino cories, one tiny BN, pair of cockatoo dwarf cichlids and a pair of borelli dwarf cichlids. More to come. All plants are real, low-tech varieties. Rocks from Lake Tahoe in California. Sand is silica sand from Home Depot. The branch is manzanita from the woods out back (dead and cleaned). And a small piece of driftwood from the Puget Sound in Washington State. Here is the pic. Comments on arrangements, especially for the hardware, are most welcome.

I don't think it looks amazing, I think it looks pretty good but in my opinion just needs some more plants. I like the rocks and the twig set-up.

I'm on the roller coaster of "amazing"...first it is, then it isn't, then it may be
No really glad for all your comments. Any comments on hardware placement? I just really don't know how to position it so it is less conspicuous and still does the job. I guess the plants will cover them up someday. I will work on more plantings.

If you fancy a challenge you could try attaching some flame moss to your nice bit of twiggy wood. That'd look really nice, and might help hide the intake a bit aswell
Nice tank btw! Guna look really good when the plants fill out a bit and if you get some more.
