Juwel Trigon 190

hi, any trigon 190 owners out there converted or converting their trigon 190s into marine tanks? i want to do it and seen some great videos and pictures of others that have done it. However i have read a few conflicting opinions that 190s arent very good for marine conversions ie the internal filter is poor and would cost a fortune on the other hand quite the oposite. Also protein skimmers can eventually cause wear on the tank itself. would love to hear from anyone who has a t190 either converted already or in the same position as me!

My lfs chain, Arc Aquatics has Trigon 190's set up as marine display tanks in both its shops and they look good. Juwel make a skimmer that fits specifically in the Trigon 190 to convert it to a marine tank, you just have to remove a knock-out circular panel in the lid. The tanks have been set up a fair while and always look nice, full of corals and some nice fish.
